SECTION 1 — Approaching the Food Stand

“¡Buenas tardes! ¿Todavía están abiertos?”
“Good afternoon! Are you still open?”

“Sí, claro. ¿Qué te gustaría ordenar?”
“Yes, of course. What would you like to order?”

“Estoy viendo el menú… Dame un segundo, por favor.”
“I’m looking at the menu… Give me a second, please.”

“No hay problema. Tómate tu tiempo.”
“No problem. Take your time.”

SECTION 2 — Ordering Food & Drinks

“Quiero unos tacos, por favor. ¿De qué son?”
“I want some tacos, please. What kind are they?”

“Tenemos de pollo, de carne, y de brisket.”
“We have chicken, beef, and brisket.”

“Dame dos de pollo y uno de brisket.”
“Give me two chicken and one brisket.”

“Perfecto. ¿Algo más?”
“Perfect. Anything else?”

“Sí, una soda grande y unas papas.”
“Yes, a large soda and some fries.”

“¿Quieres hielo en la soda?”
“Do you want ice in the soda?”

“Sí, con hielo, por favor.”
“Yes, with ice, please.”

SECTION 3 — Prices, Payment & Small Talk

“En total son veintisiete dólares.”
“Your total is twenty-seven dollars.”

“Aquí tienes mi tarjeta.”
“Here’s my card.”

“Listo. ¿Necesitas recibo?”
“All set. Do you need a receipt?”

“No, está bien. Gracias.”
“No, that’s okay. Thank you.”

“¿Para quién le vas hoy? ¿Cuál es tu equipo?”
“Who are you cheering for today? What’s your team?”

“¡Voy con los Cowboys! ¿Y tú?”
“I’m going for the Cowboys! What about you?”

“Yo soy de Kansas City, pero shhh… no le digas a nadie.”
“I’m from Kansas City, but shhh… don’t tell anyone.”

“Jajaja, no te preocupes, tu secreto está seguro.”
“Haha, don’t worry, your secret is safe.”

SECTION 4 — Receiving the Food & Leaving a Friendly Impression

“Aquí tienes tus tacos, la soda y las papas.”
“Here are your tacos, the soda, and the fries.”

“¡Muchas gracias! Se ve delicioso.”
“Thank you very much! It looks delicious.”

“¡Disfruta el partido! Ojalá gane tu equipo.”
“Enjoy the game! I hope your team wins.”

“Gracias. Igualmente, aunque seas de Kansas City.”
“Thanks. You too, even though you’re from Kansas City.”

“Jajaja, así es el fútbol. ¡Que te la pases bien!”
“Haha, that’s football. Have a great time!”
